Great Examples of Comedy Brought Forth in Art

Usually, creating art for a company is a tedious process, going through multiple revisions before the client is finally satisfied with your work. It can be even more frustrating when you lead an entire team. However, you still love the work, no matter how demanding it is, as you are still able to be creative.

When it comes to comedy in art, there isn’t a lack of it, but it is rarely showcased. Usually, it is in the forms of music and video, but can also appear in more “traditional” illustrations and paintings.

In this showcase, we have brought together a number of excellent comedic pieces from Behance, one of the largest portfolio sites around.

What Work Made the List

While some general work was included, we have focused on several areas:

  1. Work that really stands out.
  2. Art, whether illustration or animation, that uses a comedic approach to a serious (or already funny) situation or past event.
  3. Inspiration that can help you expand as an artist or designer.
